As an eLearning developer, I am frequently asked to develop software demos. A lot of work goes into creating a fully functional walkthrough of a software, and I take great pride in creating a well-thoughtout demo that leaves the user feeling confident and empowered.
For example, I begin a software demo by going into the environment and completing each step, noting any inconsistencies or questions that the user may experience. I then address these issues with my client.
It is also important to feature callouts to bring attention to special points about the software that the user needs to be aware of. I also frequently use zoom effects to focus on certain regions of the software that may be hard to distinguish at a distance. Finally, I carefully choose a voice-over artist that brings the right professional tone in order to enhance the user experience.
